Why is there a charge on my bill for Electric Web Host?

It's a monthly charge for your web hosting (web site).

Who is Electric Web Host?

It's a part of Credit-Aid Software We're a software company based Culver City, CA that makes professional credit repair software. We've been in business since 2002. We started this web hosting to help our users to have easy to have an easy to build website. Later on we decided that MyCreditRepairSite was a better name.

If this product doesn't ring a bell, you may want to ask around the office. We've found that 95% of the time the confusion arises from someone else at a company signing up for the product

How do I update my billing or credit card information?

Log into your Hosting Control Panel and you will see the options for updating Billing Information. However, if your web hosting account was suspended for non-payment you may not be able to log in. In that case, use this form to update your billing information.


How do I cancel my account?

Canceling is super easy! Click here to tell us that you wish to cancel your web hosting account. Be sure to write from the same name and email address that you signed up with. Also tell us the domain of your website (so we can find you). We will cancel the account and send you confirmation. If you have a past due balance, it will need to be brought current. Please add the card details in the form. Once we cancel the account we will send you confirmation. If 24 hours has passed and you have not received confirmation, please contact us.


Didn't I have a free trial?

No, we do not have a free trial of web hosting.


I'm a Credit Repair Cloud user. Don't I get 2 free months of hosting?

Yes, if you are a paid Credit Repair Cloud user, we send you a coupon code in your Credit Repaur Cloud Upgrade Letter. Use that coupon code DURING signup of web hosting and you will have 2 months of free basic web hosting. The coupin code cannot be applied later. It can only be applied during signup. Use your own domain name or buy one for $10/year. If your domain is registered at GoDaddy or some other registrar, no worries. It can stay at the other company and still work with our hosting. See the "Getting started with your website" email that contains your website instructions. It's sent after your new hosting account is created.

Can we get an invoice or receipt for the charges?

Every time we bill you a receipt is sent to the email address you (or your co-worker) provided when you/they signed up. Every time you pay a bill, that payment is processed by PayPal and they send you a receipt.


Can I get a refund?

Charges are non-refundable,. Once you cancel you will never be charged again, but you're responsible for all charges you've already incurred. We don't have long-term contracts, lock-in, signup or termination fees. Just pay as you go and cancel when you're done. Web hosting is not a profit center for us.  We created this as a service for our Credit Repair Software users who needed a website to start a credit repair business.  

  • Web hosting accounts are paid in advance monthly or annually. These fees are non-refundable:
  • There are no refunds on domain names. We do not make any profit on domain names. The fee is $10/year for a domain name and that $10 is paid directly to ENOM (another company) who processes and controls the domain registration. ENOM does not give refunds even to us, so please check spelling of your domain name before you register it. There are no absolutely no refunds ever on $10 domain names.
  • If you do not wish to be billed for hosting, please cancel your account prior to any charges ocurring or contact us to cancel youyr account for you. Ask in a support ticket and we will cancel it for you within 24 hours.
  • You will always be sent an invoice 1 week prior.  An invoice is not a charge.  Invoices have dates and information to explain what they are.
